Effective cycle/pc = nominal cycle × Complexity × Machinability × (1÷Efficiency) × Quality × Tool Wear × Setups.

Selecting a Material Grade fills in a typical density automatically (you can still override it). Switch Units to enter dimensions and finished weight in inches/lb — Raw Weight is always shown in both kg and lb, and the line item is always saved in kg regardless of which units you typed in. Raw weight is what you purchase per piece (used for material cost). If you enter a finished part weight and a scrap buy-back rate, the scrap value is credited against material cost. Applying also updates this line's Material Grade field.

The highest tier with Min Qty ≤ the line's current Qty is applied automatically as a discount off Unit Price.

Enter the total one-time tooling cost and the amortisation quantity. The tool calculates the per-piece charge automatically and updates when qty changes.
